Jesper Fohrman, a journalist from a major sport fishing magazine in Denmark, went fishing with us here in Panama, the week of 7 thru 13 Apr 02. Jesper concentrated his fishing on popping offshore schools of large Yellow fin Tuna and near shore for Roosterfish. The Tuna activity was good for two days and the Roosterfish were abundant every day. They caught several large Cubera Snapper on live Bonitos. One day they sighted and popped on sailfish but had no hook ups.

Marian Evertowski and Rod Pritchard visited 15-17 Apr 02. We caught several nice Cubera Snapper on live bonitos. Rod landed a 70 pound Amberjack caught trolling a CD14 Rapala on 30 pound test line. We also caught many tuna in the 15-20 pound range. The last day we hooked up and lost a Black Marlin on a live bait rig while fishing for grouper and snapper.

Steve Hutchings, Fred Colacchio, Kevin Simmons and Mike Stathis from South Florida visited the weekend of 19-20 Apr 02. Their main catch were large Yellowfin Tuna in the 40-50 pound range. Several larger Tunas that we estimate in the 100 pound plus range were lost. They also caught small Snapper, Trevally and Dorado. We hooked up but lost two Black Marlin while using live bait rigged for Cubera Snapper, Grouper and Amberjack.
