On 3 July 2002, Carl & Denise Winkler, Tony Tiblier, Tom Giles, Dave McArthur & Alex Livingston went fishing in two boats to fill coolers. The catch included Cubera Snapper, Amberjack, Roosterfish, African Pompano, Trevally and lots of Yellow-fin Tuna. Alex put on a spectacular show with a large Sailfish. When the reel failed, Alex managed to part the line with his teeth from one reel and splice it to another in the middle of the fight then finished with a clean release.   Richard Pay & Macri Gastana from Chemin Du Village, Suisse, were our guests at the Rio Negro Sportfishing Lodge, the week of 4 July 2002. Richard fished  mostly assorted poppers and live baits. Among the catch were Cubera Snapper, Blue-fin Trevelle, Roosterfish, Cero Mackerel, Amberjack, Yellow-fin Tuna, and other assorted Jacks.

Dicky Rathgaber from Tampa, Florida visited us the week of 4 July 2002. Dicky went fishing one day off Isla Cebaco, Panama and hung out with his old friend Alex for the remainder of the week. He caught the snapper shown below while trolling a CD14 repalla on 30 pound line.
