Paul Buehler (Paco) and Tom Stiers from San Antonio, Texas, went fishing with Tom & Alex during the first week of March. The fish bite was excellent each day of their stay. Their catch included many large Amberjack, Broomtail Groupers, Roosterfish, Pompano, Cubera, Mancha, Yellow, Jordan, Crimson and Colorado Snappers, Yellow-fin Tuna, Horse-eyed Jack, Jack Crevalle and Rainbow Runners.

Gerard Comple, Jim Merrigan and Tim Kolm all from New York went fishing with us in the second week of March. This was Gerard & Jim's second stay at Rio Negro. The bite was slow and baits hard to catch their first day out fishing but they did catch a nice Cubera Snapper, Wahoo, Amberjack and a large Roosterfish. Their second day out fishing, making bait was easy and the fish bite was on. They caught several large Amberjacks and a large pompano on live baits. They also jigged up lots of small Snappers & several Broomtail Groupers. The bite slowed on their last day, with remaining baits, they caught more smaller Amberjacks. Both fishing parties lost several mystery fish, presumably large Grouper, cut off on the rocks below.
